The weatehr for Val Verde, Terrell and Pecos counties has looked pretty good for the past few days, and the full moon in June isn't a major factor for alterna in those counties.
Why isn't anyone out there catching them?

We ran into late seasonal patterns everywhere we went this year. We went out to California for the the month of April only to be disappointed by cool nights in the desert and snow in our zonata spots. When we were in Texas the summer rains were late and when we got back to N.Y. this week it has been cold and raining......more like April weather. All of the field herping forums were slow this spring as well. Just an observation.
Living in Del Rio I can say it has been SLOW this year. I can even count the Number of DOR's on both 277 and 90 this year on a little more then one hand. With that said Pandale got hammered on wed night and I was able to turn up two Pics on Fri. Then ran into another herper who was cursed with the pandale dirt double flat. I ended up running them to Sanderson, and spotted one atrox along the way. Sat night was the big NADA on 277. Tonight and Tommorrow I am relaxing at home, with the price of gas and the way the year has been so far I can not justify the 150 miles of gas it takes.
...if anyone can find 'em, he can!

I think y'all should move a bit west-we had a great trip in the Alpine-Davis Mnts. area! Over 50 snakes in a weeks' hunting, including a gorgeous alterna south of Alpine on 118, and a half dozen subocs.
