Query about V. Pattern Hondos.

Hey folks. Something I've never quite grasped. Where do Vanishing Patterns fit into the genetic tree of things? Are they something unique? Hypos? or does the trait not breed true at all, similar to abberant striping?

I replied to a classified ad about these not long ago. If I remember correctly I was told that they are only labeled as siblings and not hets. He also mentioned that more and more of them are popping up and that he wouldn't doubt if they are upgraded to being labeled hets in the near future. The VP Hypos and Ghosts are killer, I hope to produce something that cool some day. I am sure besides us, many Hondo fans are wondering about the VPs too. Let's hope some of the experts chime in Tom
