Yes, I believe they have clear nails, if I'm not mistaken that also have black eyes.

Leucistic dragons have not been produced yet. What you see out there are "Marketed Leucistics." Marketed Lucys are genetically the same mutation as Hypopastels(Hypomelanistic with Clear nails). They do not have Black Eyes. If you breed a hypopastel to a Marketed Leucistic Then you will get all Hypomelanistic clear nailed dragons. Proving that it is the same gene.

The line of (Marketed Leucistics)MLs that Mark LeShock and Kevin Dunne imported came from England and were from dragons with little to no color. The Hypopastels we had in the statesat that time already had color bred into them, which is hard to remove once it is in there.

Now what I feel is important in this situation is to realize that anybody with a couple of Hypopastels can put the name ML on it.They can try and sell it for 500 dollars but it is the Super Paper White Patternless look that is what most people producing them see as a Marketed Leucistic. As babies many will have a slight pink or maybe blue but as they grow and shed they should be almost completely white.

Hi Randy,
When I look at a Marketed Leucistic , I see a Clear Nailed Snow. When I look at a Snow, I see a Dragon with no red pigment. (Anerythristic). There are many Anerys in different reptiles such as Corns, Boas and Pythons. Do Snows and/or Leucistics have any red pigment? They may have some very subtle, oranges or pinks, but isn’t the main red pigment gone? Most reptiles have three main pigments, red, yellow and black. No blacks are called Amelanistics, and no reds are Anerythristics.

If this is the case, a Leucistic (Clear Nail/Anery) X Clear Nails would produce a Clear Nail, but would be het for Anery and have Normal color. In other reptile worlds, they call an Anery an Anery and a Hypo/Anery a Ghost. It really seems that somebody who has some pull, needs to stand up and get rid of the “Marketed Leucistic” name because they are not Leucistic to begin with and the name should have never been placed on them.
