true captive hatched Sahara Uros

billygunn Jun 12, 2006 11:45 AM

I don't see very many TRUE captive hatched Sahara Uros for sale and was wondering what the going price is for them. I've seen them listed but being captive bred and hatched in the states is very questionable. We hatched out 8 out of 10 eggs form a pair of yellow Saharas that we've had for about 4yrs. but they look red. This is our first year to breed and hatch this species of uros. Thanks.

Our computer crashed a month or so ago and we have to download our camera software again. Being the computer idiot that I am some how screwed it up but we have a guy comming out soon to fix it. I'll post pics of the female laying, eggs hatching and baby pic ASAP. These breed early and lay earlyer than the other Uros we have. So the past 2yrs I missed getting a nest box in and she laid eggs all over the cage. This year I made it on time. Baby Uros are so cool looking my wife would keep them all if she could. Thanks for the responce.

i recently lost a uro and there were some CB baby uros in the local pet store. if i didn't have some weird virus going around my collection i so would have gotten one. they are too precious. i wish i had the patience to breed uros but brumation would be torture for me, ha ha. i like being around my lizards too much
