The 1st White Walled Speckled King of 06

Nokturnel Tom Jun 12, 2006 04:19 PM

I am extremely excited to finally show off my first White Walled Speckled King. I purchased the first group offered a few years ago and tragically had my actual White Wall perish. This left me with 1.1 hets and 2 possible het females. These were the first snakes to lay for me this year and BOTH my possible hets proved out. Being a superstitious type of person I decided to wait til all 3 clutches pipped and also til some were out of the egg before I brought this to the forum. The one pictured has shed and I will begin offering food tonight. They come out of the egg translucent and barely show any pattern. I learned a lot from this group and also about "investing" in high dollar projects. Things can and will happen but in the end if you're lucky enough to triumph,oh how sweeeeet it is! Thanks to Terry Vandeventer for bringing this incredible snake to the hobby. I hope you all love these as much as I do, they are awesome. Tom Stevens

Here's my daughter doing her Na Na na NA NAHHHHHH song as we celebrate with ice cream cones. Seeing her excitement makes this even more fun. Good luck to you all with all of your clutches

Congrats Tom!

I think you made an excellent decision to "invest" in such fine snakes, and from such a fine person. They look splendid! This is only the beginning of the possibilities with CBH holbrooki.
