utah mountain kings

hey I'm kinda new to this forum thing, anyways iwanted to know if anybody new how far north the utah Mountain kingsnake occurs in utah, if anybody would also tell me what kind've habitat they could found in, it'd really help, thanks.

The Utah Mountain King is no longer considered a valid sub-species. It is now just considered l. pyromelana pyromelana = the Arizona Mountain Kingsake, a subspecies of the Sonoran Mountain Kingsnake. They are found almost as far north as Salt Lake City and live in a variety of habitats. They seem to prefer riparian canyons at elevations of 5000 to 8000 feet. I suggest pciking up a copy of Brian Hubbs' book "Mountain Kings" if you want sight records, range maps, etc..
