Question for the rat snake guru's.....

FrankR Jun 13, 2006 11:08 AM

Greetings, I have recently acquired a Lavender Texas Rat snake, I have seen other Texas rat snake in a variety of colors and anomalies, I have never seen one of these, It was reportedly produced by Mark Bell, does anyone know anything about this project, Is the snake a "pure" Texas rat snake, or is it mixed with another type of rat snake/corn snake kind of thing. Regardless it's a beautiful rat snake, just wondering and I figured you rat snake guru's would know the deal on this snake

Here's a pic / Thanks guys and girls!!!!!

You have a nice pure lavender tx rat ..You don't see those guys around much ...I was breeding them back in the late 90'..Mine was MEAN It would be nice to see them cross with axanthics or hypo's tx rats

she's a little nippy like typical rat snake neonates, I only have a small colony (7 specimens)of Leucistic Texas Rat Snakes, I do plan on breeding this snake into my line to get some new genes in the mixture.

Thanks for answering
