IVORY HATCHING

anthony james mc Jun 13, 2006 12:10 PM

I bred my Het Ivory (yellow belly) to the female Het that produced the Ivory female for me last year. I only had 4 eggs so I wasn't really counting on much, out of the 4 eggs 1 is an Ivory and the other 3 are Yellow Bellies! The Ivory is still in the egg but all looks good so far! I also bred the same YB male to a female that resembles a Fire, she laid 9 eggs, I have my fingers crossed on that one.. Even though the YB market took some adjustments most agree that they would still love to have one someday, they are incredible looking and alot of fun to hatch out, right up there with hatching Pieds in my book! Derek, it's head has been out since yesterday, the YB's are all out now so the Ivory should also be out sometime later today. I'll get a group pic once hatching is finished.. Anthony McCain-McCain Reptiles..

Hey thanks Mark, glad you like the pair of yellow bellies , the female Mojave I received from you is incredible , she is a feeding machine and is one of the nicest female Mojaves I have, thanks again for letting go of a holdback animal. As for the Ivory clutch , I think I lucked out, the end result was 1.2 Yellow Bellies and an Ivory male that is simply perfect! Here's a pic of the Ivory out of the egg, he decided to come out just about 2 hours ago! Keep in touch with me Mark. Anthony McCain-McCain's Reptiles..
