An excited morning...Finally, Oscar laid her 32 eggs.
Still waiting on Isabelle...another week.?
Of the 32, 28 look really great, 4 definite unfertile.
We'll see how the others do.
I can only hope these are fertile...copulation appeared to occur...so who knows...
Will keep posted.
I am still amazed how 32 eggs come out of an Uro-truely is amazing....

Hi, My name is Cathy. I know this is really random, but I think you may be able to help me. I have had 2 Mali uro's for about 7 years now. A male and a female, always housed together. They never showed much interest in each other and seemed to be getting along. 2 days ago, I found 16 eggs in their enclosure. You could just imagine my surprise, after all these years!!!! I didn't even know she was pregnant--just figured she was chunking up a bit. I think I got to the eggs too late. Most of them look kind of shriveled, they are turning yellow, they smell, but they all have a red dot in the center. Some have remained round. I kept them at around 90 dgrees, but how will I know if any of them are actually alive? Tonight I bought an Hovabator--Im not sure how to use this thing. Any info you offer would be great My female is sooo thin now--I have been giving her pedialyte--I haven't seen her drink in 7 years!!!!
