Not a good idea! I’d give them another year, or one could become a snackling!
its never a good idea to house ball pythons together. its just causes more stress on them and does nothingbut bad. no, you cannot and never will be able to put them together unless for breeding purposes.

I know that people think that it is a bad thing to keep snakes together but i tend to disagree. I know a few people that house their BP's together as well as i do. I actually started mine off as a little experiment. I was having a hard time getting one of my BP's to "settle down" he was very fidgety, so I moved another male in with him, and since them there has been no problem. They feed well and shed well. No problem here. Just make sure that you feed them seperately and feeding tank/box.
"No, you cannot and never will be able to put them together!" !?! I think that's a little absolute! I know it's not suggested, but I have two carpet pythons (a 04 JCP and an 04 IJ) that have been together since they were hatchlings. No problems. Half of the time they look like one snake coiled together. I separated them and one rubbed his nose raw tiring to get out. Reptile shops tend to keep hatchlings together and I have seen 2 Burms and 2 Retails kept as pairs. I know that there is a chance of a conflict or stress but I took that same chance when I got married.
So when you become Dr. Python you can talk in absolutes.
I agree I have tow BPs together .they have been together since they were hatchlings. I seperate to feed . They have two hides but are always together.. the only thing is that i have to seperate soon because they are male and female and the male will be breeding age soon.. I think they are going to miss each other..
I wouldn't put them that young together. I got completely and totally reamed b/c I went to another board and said I house two bp together. One of these was Mr. Python himself. I was told that I didn't know anything about snakes, that I was killing my snakes, and that 'people should be required to take a test to own a snake' b/c I didn't know how to care for them. I was also told that was why one snake didn't eat for four months (but turns out she was gravid) AND was told that it is a lie that ball pythons are finiky eaters. Everyone at this site said that all ball pythons eat normal. I did house my together until it turned out one was sexed incorrectly and was male instead of a female. Now they are seperate and I will be putting my two males together as soon as the other one gets bigger. Check it out http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=34130 They told me to come here and you guys would tell me I was stupid too.
