I was wondering if I remembered right that you are the person who has the chuckwalla. Someone had posted a pic at one point with all thier lizards together.. and I was wondering about the chuckwalla, care, and comparison to chams and leos.

I have three chukwallas, love them. I have had one Chewalla, since he was 12 weeks old, he's now 5 years. Hes an old lap chuck, likes his neck scratched The other 2 are pretty seet also.
If you want friendly chucks you have be around them and handle them when younger. I find them fairly easy to care for. You need a good size/roomy enclosure bigger the better. They eat veggies/weeds/flowers/fruits. I keep mine on playsand.

If you want to knwo more stop by the chuckwalla forum and talk to us, great bunch there, very knowledgable. Slower there than here but you will learn.

They are so darn cute the way they all just kinda hang out! My dogs hang out together, but the Chams... forget. The Anoles LOVE eachother... to the tune of 8 eggs so far. The Frogs have a love/hate relationship, they love the company but hate sharing the food. And the Satanics are just weird. I find them spending time together at like 3 am, but during the day they are on opposite sides of the tank ( secret lovers?) And I need to post some pics of my little P.M. Grandis (girl). It's been two months, so I'm hoping to get an answer soon. It's wierd because (she) seems to be getting calcium saks, BUT her private parts are questionable.......... I'll post some pics of her on the gecko forum and see what everyone else thinks too....
