terrarium waterfall..

Bergmantis Jun 13, 2006 07:39 PM

I am building a terrarium for a white's tree frog and was wondering if anyone can reccommend a good pump to pump the water through tubing, around a 1.5ft above the water...i am only going to have a few inches of a shallow water basin at the bottom, but i wasnt to have the water trickle down some driftwood. I am just not very familiar with what people use for pumps so if someone can point me in the right direction. A lot of pumps i find only pump oxygen into the water. Also, if anyone can give me some good ideas for setting up a waterfall (pics or descriptions) i would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Mat

I've always used aqua clear powerheads like on this site: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/reviews/category_display.php?CatID=102

just put the pump in the water and hook up a hose to the output and your good to go, just make sure that the hose is secure I once had my hose come undone while I was at work and it flooded the whole land side of my tank.
