New Species of Chondropython?

richardwells Aug 01, 2003 03:35 AM

Hi all,
I have been repeatedly told by Ray Hoser that he has formally named the Australian population as a new species (as Chondropython covacevichae), but I have yet to see this description. Has anyone out there actually seen this paper? If so, I would greatly appreciate any details.

Thanks

Richard Wells

Richard, I've told you the paper is in press and that as I am not publisher I can't just print it. Sad but true.
I've been told that there have been printing hassles for some weeks and that's the reason for the delays. Three taxonomy papers are actually held up at the one place, so as you can guess I am very pissed off.
When it comes out you will be sent a copy immediately.
Ditto for the others I mentioned to you on the phone.
ALL THE BEST
