Has anyone tried capture the sun mercury uvb uva light from big apple? I just got one and so far so good. I have heard that they are improved and suppose to have a very good uvb output. I would be interested in what others think.
Thanks
Derrick

Derrick,
I've used a few of them in the past with good success overall.
One of them burned out after a month and they shipped me a new one that lasted over a year. I think they normally last around 6 months. Just make sure to mount it to something solid and in a vertical position. Mounting to something that gets vibration every time you open a cage or cases the bulb to be at an angle will cause them to burn out much sooner.
At this point I prefer ZooMed's bulb because I have had more consistent results.
Good luck,
John
