I've always seen that short/sloped snout as characteristic of captive raised animals (that grow quickly). Have you seen it in WC snakes as well?

This characteristic is really obvious in WC vs CB Ratsnakes (P. obsoleta).

Yes I have Chris, especially in "nose-rubbers".
The top snake is a WC mole from NC however and the mole kings do seem to have it. I have several WC from different locales that "came with it" so to speak.
