This little guy/gal is the most recent arrival, having pipped his/her egg about 20 minutes ago (as of 4:45pm June 14-2006). I am very excited about this batch as they are the world's first albino hybrid rock/burms het green (I am calling them "Albino Cateaters" for kicks and giggles)
This first baby has an amazing looking pattern with incredible orange colors right off the bat. The albino Cateaters het labyrinth from last year didn't turn orange for quite a while. I can't wait to see the rest of these babies as they hatch and I also can't wait to see what they develop into over time and with age and each shed. It's a very exciting time here today.
I hope y'all liked the pics. I'll post more as the remaining babies emerge over the next couple weeks. I anticipate each baby to be unique and entirely different from their siblings since hybrids tend to all be different and unique even when fully related.
