Albino Hybrid Rock/Burm Het Greens!

HighEndHerpsInc Jun 14, 2006 07:19 PM

Here is the first of this clutch of albino hybrids het green (another world's first) our most recent hatching, taking place just a few hours ago. We are very excited about these and have some other related breedings that will dovetail/merge with these in future breedings to make some out of this world hybrid green albinos and green hybrids het albino and many many other combos never before seen or conceived.

It's an exciting time.

I have to admit, those really are cool snakes. I'm trying to force myself out of my current frame of mind regarding hybrids, so I have been checking out this forum a bit. I gave you a hard time in the past, so I'd like to apologize for that. You must be a hard-working and dedicated guy to produce these hybrids. I'm having a hard enough time trying to get my carpets to mate and produce for me and they're the same species! Plus, its an interesting experiment in science you are doing and it gives us some insight as to how these 2 species are related to each other.

Were both the parent's (the rock and burm) albino? Otherwise how did you get the albino gene to show up in the first generation?

I won't even ask about fertility, or price for that matter...

Cool snakes.

I think it's about time you outbreed them back to sabae, you are loosing the rock blood quickly, these are what 3/4 burmese 1/4 african rock, although beautiful, they are starting to look like abberant molurus and the sabae genes are becoming less noticable, want me to drool? mix them back to a sabae, then to a retic. Now that would be a HYBRID
