My male Cal King is a 2003 hatchling, so he is becoming an adult this summer. Handles & feeds well, his shed cycles were quite consistent as a juvenile, every 4-6 weeks.
As he neared adulthood last autumn, he was amazingly active in November, and fed into late December. His last shed was December 17. He was very inactive for the next 2 months, but by late March he was active & eating again.
He shed on May 9, 5 months after his last shed. Then again on June 9, one month after his last shed.
