Last year when I shipped some snakes I was charged proportional size weight rather than actual weight. Which size of box is the best one??

12 x 9 x 6 or

7 x 7 x 6

I know there are other boxes out there but what is the most common one used.???

I try to use the smallest box that allows for me to still pack the snake securly. I get paraniod that those shipping people dont care that the box says fragile. So allow for enuff padding, but dont go with more box then you need.
