Today I discovered my new ball python's first feces (living with me at least) and I am unsure if they appear unhealthy. This is my first snake. The stool seems to have 3-dimentional tiny orange-ish specks in a tight patch, and it is pretty hard. Does this indicate internal parasites? His previous owner kept him in room temp conditions, and so when I got him he had a respiratory infection which I am in the process of treating, and I've provided correct heating. Is this stool description normal, or indicative of a problem? I am taking the sample to the vet, but would like to know as early as possible, thanks very much.
