Pretty guy, Cal king with splendida or nigrita influence hmm?
I have never seen wild cal with chains, but at least two coastal cali experts identified her as a coastal So. Cal. soooo who knows? it don't matter, i only keep snakes for the heck of it and anyway i have a sneaking suspicion that cals/splendida/nigrita maybe more closely related to each other than we realize.
My thoughts ran the same as krazybluntz (splendida crossed w/ cal, maybe Az locality), but Jetzen, I think you make a good point w/ californiae, splendida and nigrita appearing to have commonalities.

Just simple observations i have made with my collection. Then again i have been informed by J.T. Collins that sub-specific names are on the way out, sooooooo i really dos'nt matter anyway. bummer...........
