Purple Axanthics????

johnavilla Jun 16, 2006 10:05 AM

I read a post a few months ago about a new morph called a purple axanthics. Does any one have any information on what is going on with these? Who has them? When will they be available? Anything? Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly the post said they were a new line of axanthics. In the pics I saw the babies were a darkish purple and I think that there was an adult pictured that looked simmilar in color to a hatchling normal axanthic but this was months ago so my memory might not be totally acurate.

That post from about 6-8months ago, and if I remember correctly the animals ended up looking like normal axanthics, but the pic post hatch that was tagged onto the post was indeed what I think anyone would call a "Purple Axanthic", but ended up looking as it should after a few sheds.

John,
No, don't remember anything more than the fact that the person said something along the lines of, "...and after a few sheds they turned into just good lookin axanthics".

Hope that helps,
Dan

Lynn and Sprocket Hendricks had it. I don't know if they still do or if they sold it.

Yes ,They still have the purple Axanthic and I sure have enjoyed seeing it grow up !!! As far as I know the mom is gravid again and they are just waiting for her to drop eggs again !!! so hopefully more is on the way !!! U can see this Beautiful snake at the Oklahoma show this weekend and at the San Antonio next weekend !!! I will get Sprocket to get some updated pics of her when he gets back . And Yes I think this is the best line of Axanthics out there . I can`t wait to see crosses with this NEW line .I sure wish I did not get out of this project ....And Sprocket knows I want back in .lol
