I am very sorry for your predicament! It unfortunately illustrates what everyone on this forum has been saying for years. I fear you will never get a satisfactory response from the government..It would seem you have the basis for a lawsuit(and coming from me, that is not to be taken lightly!)against the original institiution to which you loaned your animal. I hope you had something in writing from them and I hope you persue this injustice. Best of luck..

thank you for your response. i do have all of my original documentation. how ever i think that the injustice lies with the state and the nature center. keeping their word to me is more important in my view. i need as much help from the herp communityas i can get. the state of florida set the bar lets see if they can reach it. thanks, gary

Man I would have been raising hell at the original place to get my snake back. That really sucks.
