Caging Western Hognose...

Hi Gang,

Need your thoughts, is it safe to house two Western Hognose Snakes in the same cage?? Your thoughts and expertise are very welcome!!

It has been the consensus on this forum that 1. housing snakes together is a bad idea 2. housing hognose snakes together is a worse idea. Most snakes have ophiophagus tendencies and hognoses certainly do especially with their strong and frenzied feeding responses. It has been reported on this forum that hogs kept together for 2 yrs didn't prevent one from getting eaten. Personally, I see no reason to house nonbreeding hogs together at all.
