So unfortunately i had to have my 6 yr. old female spayed yesterday. She came out of the surgery well, she was mad at me though and kept giving me ugly faces. She ate some food then laid down for a bit. But all last night she couldn't sleep, kept jumping up, even tried to sleep standing up but she fell over, poor thing. Today i went and picked up some pain medicine from the vet, hopefully she'll sleep tonight. I think the discomfort may have been from all the fluids they gave her during surgery??? If anyone on this forum has had their iguana spayed i would appreciate any info you might have.
