Hello,

I've been on Kingsnake for years, but I am new to this forum. I look foward to meeting you guys.

I do not currently keep boas, although I have had many in the past. I keep mainly venomous (cobras) and pythons (carpets), and a few colubrids.

Thanks to Davey (I'm not sure if hes on here), and Joe Lydon, I have picked out my first pair of investment quality boas. I am currently looking at an 03' male DH sunglow, and a female 02 albino.

will be hooked in no time. They are truly awesome animals with great personalities. They have a way of sucking you in. I used to really love carpet pythons due to there personality and now have almost all boas you will see what I mean very soon. Congrats again Vinnie

That sounds pretty exciting. I really enjoy my carpets. I plan on getting into jags next year, as I have already put alot of money into them, and continue to put in more. If boas become that addicitive, Im surely going broke! Although, if I would use some sense, I could become quite profitable also...

Anyway, thanks for the welcome

I am sure you will enjoy it here and if you do get those boas I am sure you will want more. Also many people here have other snakes besides boas. I understand the fascination with venemous as I have had them for 15 years. Cobras are awesome but a bit too unpredictable for my taste. I had a Forest Cobra for 3 years. They grow like weeds and have a bad attitude. Have you worked with them? I also like Red Spitters and Capes real well although have never had any.
Well I am beginning to ramble so the point is welcome to the forum and we are glad you are here.

Dan

Thanks for the welcome. I LOVE forests. If I could make that word bold, and underline it, I would. Ive had 6 forests over the years, and for one reason or another, no longer have them. I sold my first trio when I moved, and my second trio, unfortunately, died in an electrical malfunction. I currently have albino monocleds and black paks that will breed this coming year. I had 2.1 red spitters, who also died with the forests. I have never kept capes, although I would like to. Other than that I have had formosas, suphans, and javan spitters.

Unfortunately, I am unable to get the boas I mentioned in my first post, as they are sold. It is okay though, I was putting a deposit on them until august when I get most of my money, so I have plenty of time. I am pretty excited about producing sunglows though! I have lots to learn about all of the other morphs, so maybe Ill get into something else on the way.
