The weather channel just noted that there are flood warnings in Val Verde county after some excessively heavy rains over night.
anyone see it first hand? Any one track the storm on Radar?
Any opinions on how this will affect hunting next week assuming it stays dry till then?

I watched the radar last night. Terrell and Val Verde Counties both got rain. There were severe storms affecting both counties.
I spoke with Roy in Sanderson this morning. An alterna was found east of Sanderson after the rains stopped (about 2 AM, I believe) as well as one being found down by Langtry earlier in the evening. Not sure if this was before, during, or after the rains there.

have no idea about the Lnagtry... 
The animal was found at 2:25 AM on a wet cut....after the rain at about 67 degrees. An adult male approximately 24 inches in length...medium phase blairi morph. More have been found...a good rain anywhere from .40 - 1 inches of moisture in Terrell County and Val Verde County....
