I know some of you hate these post but some people including myself enjoy these. Just a normal until she proves otherwise. So here goes. CH05 purchased in August at less than 100 grams. She currently weighs 1200 grams. No belly pic but it is clear, similar to my pastels. Black eyes, no change of color in the upper half of the eye.
First pic shows some of her blushing and thick black outline around the aliens.

More blushing and several aliens with a single dot.

Some floating aliens, some are reduced in size as they get near the belly, single dot and some squiggles around the dot. Also, white coming up from her belly, flames?

She should make it up to size for this next season. Just over a year old but her weight should be more than enough. Not sure what to breed her to. Possibly a pastel, yellow belly, or ? Any suggestions?

If I were you I would wait until the 07-08 season for her. Weight isn't everything. She will be only a year old, don't be suprised if she doesn't produce.

She looks like a nice blackback - could be genetic. I'd send those pics to Corey Woods.

size isn't everything but it's part of the equation. I know of several large breeders that have bred females at less than 1 year old but were over 1500g. One of the problems with breeding young females is that people are trying to wait till the very last second to cycle their females and perhaps they don't get the proper cooling needed. My personal opinion on this is if a female is easily over 1500g when I start to cool the rest of my collection than she gets cooled too, if not I will wait till the following year. If a female is already over 1000g at 1 year old there is no reason to think she won't gain plenty of weight before the beginning of breeding season. Heck i've seen 600g females this time of the year start pounding food and make it to breeding size and produce good clutches more often than not when the females actually produced eggs.
