can you guys let me know how to go about being able to write my expenses off on taxes for my dragon breeding. i am trying to get started with my business, and i know i can write everything off but i need to know what i need to do so. do i need state tax ID #, business license, breeders license, etc.? i also may start buying wholesale supplies and selling also, so what do i need to start there?

Go to your local small business administration and ask for the booklet on opening a small business in your state. I am not an expert but my state required a business license and a tax id# to do business and most wholesale folks also will want a tax id # of some sort to buy wholesale. Also a good accountant is a must. They can help with the what to keep questions for your state. Good Luck on the adventure.
