auxiliary lights and laws as mentioned

below, almost all states except California states that off road lighting of auxiliary and watts are to be hooked up for lower beam use only. And there is also a requirement of how many can be installed. My day of using search engines on the INTERNET. Sorry ...........LOL !

the way I under-(or is that misunder-)stood it was that (in TX) the lights had to be 55W or less, and if they were, it didn't matter how they were hooked up. If they were more than 55W, they were not legal for the highway or street, only off-road.

However, I've run 100W bulbs for since '92 and never had any LE of any sort say anything about them . . . but I've been using short-range, wide-angle fog lights . . .
