Well i have this baby cornsnake and for some reason the whole side of his face became swolen and his left eye looks like it may just pop! What is this, or what could have caused this to happen?

Well i have this baby cornsnake and for some reason the whole side of his face became swolen and his left eye looks like it may just pop! What is this, or what could have caused this to happen?

sounds like a severe sinus infection.....you have to take it to a vet asap. things will only get worse before getting better...

I had one like that a few years ago - eye came up like a bubble three days after hatching.
In my case, the vet said that the eye scale was deformed and lacked the duct that allowed excess fluid to drain from around the eye. The fluid built up under the scale, inflating it until the snake shed. When she reached eighteen months old he surgically removed the entire scale, but when it grew back the same he said there was nothing more he could do.
Hopefully your vet will be able to tell you what's going on with yours.
