Cricket feed?

Fourstrings88 Jun 18, 2006 07:33 PM

Hello

I have a 25 gallon Rubbermaid tub that I house 250 crickets in. And I lately have been trying more better and effecient ways to feed and gutlaod them. But it seems most of them keep dieing for some reason. I use Flukers Gutload (its brown and smells somewhat of what a Hamster would eat) and a little dish with water, but not deep enough for them to drown.

I was wondering what everyone else uses to Gutload, That REALLY works andyour daily routine for it or how mnay time a week must you change the feed.

THANKS =]

i use mixture of any healthy fruits and veggies in the fridge and some cereal grains too. normally i put a bunch of greens, a carrot, a slice of zucchini, a slice of potatoe, a slice of apple, you know. whatever is healthy. i actually haven't noticed a death in my shipment of crickets since i got them your crickets are probably dieing because they dont know to drink from the bowl. they get their water from their food and all the fresh veggies i described will give them plenty of water.
