in the pines

found a few noteworthy colubrids this weekend in jersey.the temporalis and pine were lifers.

Was there on Saturday. Had no luck finding snakes, just a few sceloporus and Fowlers toad. Awesome finds.

I know the debate continues about the systematics of temporalis and eastern milks... but if I cought that I would honestly assume it was an eastern milk.

Perhaps there's broad enough integration in the area that they are as much one as they are the other??

What's the latest on temporalis vs triangulum vs elapsoides anyway?
