Okay, so I redid my entire tank. I'm talking redid, like bought all new stuff. Now I have this awesome setup (IMO) and heres the thing, before it was like I couldn't get the temp high enough, lol, now I can't get it low enough. I have a heat pad on a rheostat and the sand temp still reads about 95.. time to add a bit more. .lol

What do you do when your rheostat is at its lowest, and its still too hot? LOL

Do u have an over head light on also? If so turn it off and see if not. Turn the UTH off and read what the sand says after a few hours. Also You may want to add more sand on that one said so it absorbs more heat.

I have an overhead light that is 5 inches off the tank top for viewing, not heating, and I am getting up to almost 1.5 inches of sand, lol
