Moving Sucks......

phiber_optikx Jun 19, 2006 03:10 AM

I finally got moved into my new place this weekend and I think the snakes like it much better. They have their own little climate controlled garage with a window unit. Much better than my old room which had poor insulation and had an average room temp of 87 WITH the air on. So I moved Friday afternoon, how long should I wait before feeding? I think tomorrow will have been plenty of time. Sorry I have been gone, had to build a new computer.... It is MUCH cheaper to build one than to buy one brand new btw. Saved about $800.

i was wondering where you were.....it just never registered that you said you were moving and actually moving.....DUHH hehehhe i'm stupid. anyway, feed them when you think and if someone doesnt eat....wait 3 days and try again.... crongrats....i guess on the move....i dont know if it was a good thing or bad.... but it sounds more comfortable....temperature-wise.

yes it does........no way I would move some of my stuff.......a couple of the racks will actually be given away someday (even though I am not moving.)....if someone takes them they will get them out.......OR I will take a chain saw and cut them in half so I can actually move them.....(yes they are that big)./...getting them down the stairs almost killed me....and my dad...........LOL..........

.....feed whenever you want.......

I would almost treat it as bringing a new snake home. Give them a day or two to settle, then feed. If it does not work, they refuse or regurge, wait another couple days. I bet they take it on first offer, though. Good luck.
