I would watch them the whole time. Breeding can be violent. If it gets out of hand you got to split them up. If he is biting any other places then the back of her neck to hold her you got to split them up. Be carefull, and good luck. Once it is done there is no turning back. Make sure you have an incubater ready and all the supplies. It's expensive to raise up beardies and with one breading you can have multiple clutches it is not odd to have a female lay 25 eggs 4 times after one breeding could even be more. What are the ages, and weights of the dragons?

I'm not sure if the female has enough weight on her. Not many breeders breed females under 400 grams. I personally breed them over 500 grams myself but I might be a bit over pretective. Laying eggs really wipes them out and they have to have enough fat stores to last them through the multiple laying. Right after the first is layed another is starting to develope. They don't have much time to fatten up before the next clutch cause towards the due date they stop eating because of lack of room in the stomach. I would wait to get another opinion before going ahead with breeding them. Make sure she has enough weight. I would rather be safe then sorry. I'm sure you would too.
