It reminded me of my babies. I have 9 little ones that just hatched monday and tuesday. Tuesday night when I was removing the empty shells from the setup I have them in one started flaring with mouth gaping wide open. I touched it on top of its head and it was like it fell over dead. It curled its legs under its belly, closed its eyes and actually fell over on its side. I picked it up and set it back down and it didn't even flinch, not a twitch or anything. I went about my business of feeding and cleaning and when I looked back at the little one he was lifting its head to see if it was safe yet! What comedians! I have never had one go to this extent in trying to play dead. I am wondering if this is a tactic they use in the wild, sort of like the hognose snake laying on its back with mouth open and tongue hanging out, LOL!
Don't mean to ramble but though you might appreciate the humor.
