Ana, my side-blotched is in her laying tank digging away. Last night she jump up to the screen and had not dug yet so put her back in with Stan (who had gone to bed a few hours earlier than usual) for the night.

Well, I just went to check on her and then glanced in the main tank and he is burrowed in the sand already! it is 4:00!! I think he really feels a little lost when she is not there. I think it is sweet. I know, I know, they are lizards and we all tend to anthropomorphize, but his behavior changes quite a bit when she is not around. I've always had solitary lizards so it is fun to have a pair so close!

after laying another 4 or 5 eggs (haven't dug them up yet - hope they will be OK in moist sand with heating pad for a day or two - am up to my ears with little critters!)

On the one hand I am anxious for the last batch to hatch, but sort of glad they are taking care of themselves - and I hope for another couple weeks!
