Ana, my side-blotched is in her laying tank digging away. Last night she jump up to the screen and had not dug yet so put her back in with Stan (who had gone to bed a few hours earlier than usual) for the night.
Well, I just went to check on her and then glanced in the main tank and he is burrowed in the sand already! it is 4:00!! I think he really feels a little lost when she is not there. I think it is sweet. I know, I know, they are lizards and we all tend to anthropomorphize, but his behavior changes quite a bit when she is not around. I've always had solitary lizards so it is fun to have a pair so close!
