I just got a BP that is 3 years old and a little under 2 feet. It is a female. The lady I got it from said that they feed her 2 pinks once a week- she's old enough for a large mouse easily. The woman said that they've tried to give her mice and she just ignores them or goes and hides. She said that there was one that lived with her for a week before they took the mouse out. I figured "hey thats easy to fix- try a dead mouse" no luck. I tried a large mouse and then a small mouse- shes not interested. I think she's a little big for assistance since she has no problem wrapping up a pink. I tried for quite a while to get her to eat a mouse with no avail. I'm thinking i'll just have to starve her for a while and try again. anyone else have a problem with a BP not wanting to move up in prey size? how did you fix it. Most of the snakes i get are small b/c they aren't being fed- not because they wont eat....
