Cat Geckos

honuman Jun 19, 2006 06:40 PM

Well as if Ornate Uromastyx, Cresties, Leachies, 2 species of Uroplatus, leos and day geckos weren't enough - I added a trio (currently housed separately) of Cat geckos to the collection. What amazing critters (aren't they all amazing for the matter?).

So beautiful and slinky. Hopefully, I will have little ones in the future. Everyone else has bred thus far so I have high hopes that these guys will deliver too.

Congratulations, I think cat geckos are awesome looking, they do appear to be sleek, and slithery in the way htey move. Very unique and interesting creatures, COOL eyes as well.

I have looked at them often (just window c=shopping, LOL) they are pretty high end as far as cash.

I hope you have much success with them. Maybe one day I will have that EXTRA lizard fund FULL and talk with you.

They are all going to be housed separately for long time. I just want them to settle in and make sure they are well hydrated etc.

They are pretty asocial critters so I think I will set them up in fairly large environment when I attempt to breed them and then move separate them again between breeding attempts. Wish they were more like my leaftails in terms of dealing with having roomates.
