Go set up an account with them over the phone - extremely easy to do. then you can ship them with UPS legally.

I know it's confusing, but that's how it goes with the UPS.

After I set up my UPS acct. online, I e-mailed them and told them I would be shipping geckos. They then put me in contact with a local UPS rep who faxed me a form to fill out where I explained how I would pack them for shipping etc....
Then I faxed her the form back, she approved it and sent it to their corporate office, who sent me a letter saying I was approved to ship geckos with UPS. I always bring my letter with me to the UPS counter, but they have never asked to see it. took about a week and a half to get all the approvals done and the letter delivered to me. Also, I wouldn't recommend a "UPS store" as the geckos will sit around until they are picked up by UPS then will ride around in his truck until he gets back to the UPS facility. Best bet is to take it directly to UPS about 15 min before they close the counter( 7:30 PM is when they close here). This way the animals spend less time in a box and in transit, reducing stress and potential mishaps.
