Hey, why am I the only one posting that their babies are hatching? I know most of you have bred for a few years. Does it lose its excitement?
Well, here are some of the babies pipping (pictures taken with my NEW camera!!lol).

You know, you see snakes hatching on nature shows and it just takes a few minutes. They must use time lapse photography or something because all of mine took a couple days after first slicing the shells (pipping). No one told me it was such a SLOW process!! Its like you waited for the snake to lay the eggs, you waited for the eggs to start pipping, then you have to wait forever for the babies to actually Come OUT of the eggs!! lol.
Must have patients in this Hobby, thats for sure.

I haven't posted anything yet because here in the Midwest with the extremes of weather, we kind of have to cycle everything according to the outdoor temps. As a result, we usually don't get eggs until late May or early June. Actually, I don't post here much at all because we primarily do Pituophis, but I still keep some corns, too(I am a frequent lurker on this forum). The corns were the first eggs this year, though, so they should be coming out first(about another month).

P&S Pituophis
