TJH Jun 20, 2006 10:04 AM

I made my first trip to West Texas June 3rd thru June 10th.
We stayed with friends in Marathon. Most of our hunting was East of Marathon, but we did get a little hunting in West of Marathon and North of Fort Davis. The weather conditions were not the best, but overall not a bad trip.

SNAKES
1 Mountain Patchnose
2 Night Snakes(1 dor)
1 Blind Snake
1 Trans Pecos Copperhead
1 New Mexico Milk
3 Bullsnakes(2 dor)
1 Great Plains Rat
2 Desert Kings
2 Mexican Hognose(1 dor)
2 Longnose Snakes(1 dor)
11 Western Diamondbacks
3 Blacktails
3 Mojaves(1 dor)
1 Prairie Rattlesnake
1 Trans Pecos Rat

Lizards
1 Texas Horned Lizard(saw a couple others)
Also saw several Crevice Spiny Lizards

A friend(not in our group) caught a Roundtail Horned Lizard that I was able to photograph.

I have photos of all the snakes and lizards listed above. I will post some of them as soon as possible.

Thanks for looking,

TJ
