When to add the froggy?

Darksky Jun 20, 2006 03:08 PM

Ok, so I setup my terrarium today. It's pretty basic: a couple of ferns and moss and stuff like that but as of right now, it looks like it would keep a dart happy. I was thinking of waiting a couple weeks to make sure that the plants are doing well before adding the frog? Should I wait longer?

Although many of us quarantine our new frogs for 4 weeks or more before putting them in the permanent tank, in your case, with a single frog, you probably only have to wait until you see that everything is establisihing well, and all of your silicone, Great-Stuff, or whatever you have used is well cured and any water features, if you have them, have stopped foaming and are running clear.
