Yellow Ghost on eggs

RoyalVariations- Jun 20, 2006 05:57 PM

Yellow Ghost Royal Python
Hatched 93" import
collection Royal Variations Ltd.

My founding Yellow Ghost "my original line from 93" just laid 4 good eggs and 2 slugs. I bred her with a Joe Compel Pastel male and my SK Caramel Albino het. The Pastel was a 04" and was not the most enthusiastic of breeders so I decided to also breed my SK Caramel Albino het and he was more than enthusiastic. After the Caramel het was seen copulating many times with the Yellow Ghost female then of course the Pastel "woke up". Time will tell who the father is but either way they are het for my Yellow Ghost line. The female has been off feed the entire breeding season and she has changed color to a dull grey which she always does when gravid. When she is back on feed again she resumes her beautiful color. I realize that you can barely see the eggs she is coiled around but trust me when I say she liked it that way "She was not in the mood to pose".

Joe,

I appreciate how much you like my Yellow Ghost. I am not sure how she ranks among the amazing Ghost out there but she always produces beautiful hatchlings. You and Wes are top of the list for any hatchlings that I sell from this line. I have sold Ghost and Ghost hets from her but not directly 100% only her line because she was always bred with other lines. She mixes nicely with the Butterscotch line.

Sincerely, Kyle

Hi Kyle,
I sure hope all 4 hatch for you.I bought a ghost from Kyle years ago,and she was one of the finest ghosts I have seen to this day.I got out of BP's for a long time, and sold her,not a very good move I may add.She is in the collection of Camlon Reptiles now,and the last picture I saw of her she was still very beautiful, and setting on a pile of eggs.
Good luck Kyle!!
Greg

Hi Greg,

I must apologize. Your name sounded very familiar and yet I could not figure out how I knew you. I do remember now. I am glad that you liked the Ghost. If you ever decide to purchase another one let me know. Please stay in touch regardless. Very nice to hear from you.

Sincerely, Kyle
