At what size/age

Do you switch your female columbians from a 4' to a 6' cage.

Never, for most of my females I use 4'boaphiles. They seem to work great for all but the truly giant BCI. Craig

I have mine in 6' animal plastics cages but I put them in there at around 3' (not because I have to but because I can).

As a rule of thumb there should be 1 square foot for each foot of snake (this being considered minimum caging size). So a boa should be fine in a 4x2 until s/he is 8 feet. 5x2 til 10, 6x2 til 12. We keep out 9 footer in a 5x2.
