a first and successful shed ... some questions though...

i took out the skin and there was some (very little) blood on it. is that ok ? and what do u guys do with the skin, i don't know if this sounds stupid, but does anyone keep it ?

I only keep the shed if its complete and in good condition. If you want to unroll it or whatever, you can use a little water to loosen the dried parts that are stuck together, but it usually smells something awful and I wouldn't do it unless you really want to keep the shed. -Whit

I guess the blood was around the vent? That's normal. A lot of snakes (including my two BP) bleed a little from their vent during shedding.
