What do you think of this guy?

I ordered two females and got one and this guy thrown in instead..weird cause he's still up in the classifieds and i compared him to pics and it's the same snake, anyway....is he a pastel, just a high gold, or maybe something else? he's so pretty in person,i guess i'm keeping him.

Pastels always have a clear belly. thats the first and biggest indicator.

I actually have a male very similar to yours and I asked the same questions even though I knew it was a normal. But there are some indicators that lead me to believe there is something very special about him.He has green eyes just like a pastel and even an seasoned ball breeder had a hard time telling the two eye shots apart. And he has a very unusual moustache and beard color on the tip of his nose kind of like a spider.I'm gonna chance my instincts and breed him this year.

SimplyRed is correct, pastels pretty much always have a clear belly. However, the eyes look kind of green. One of the easiest ways to tell a pastel from a normal is the eye color. A normal has black eyes and a pastel has green eyes.
