Can you please give some advise on trimming my guys nails. I have a scratch rock and other items in her cage but she still has nails that do a number on you when she is being held.

just snip the very very tip of the nail, if you do too much you will quik them and they will bleed (you probably will be able to see the quik inside the nail, it will be the shape of the nail and extending out from the nail bed inside the nail) be sure to have some syptic powder on hand or flour or baking soda just in case. you can use regular nail clippers just fine or if you have them you can use the guillotine clippers. If you are at uncomfortable with doing it yourself i reccomend you go to the local reptile shop, or check with groomers and see if they do reptiles. Its important that you dont cut too much, and if you do you stop the bleeding quickly and monitor them for the next few hours to be sure it has stopped and doesnt start again. So again, just the very tip.
