now that I have it all planted

what is the best way to clean the windows/sides of the tanks?
can I use Windex? or is it too toxic for the animals to be around?
I could tke her out of the tank, and PERCH her on one of my kids while I let the tank air out after I cleaned the glass
but it is really smudgy and a dry towel does not do the trick, os its SOMETHING on the glass, not just dirt grit or steam

I remember Cheyanne telling me a good way to clean the insides of the glass without using anything that is harmful, but I can't remember what exactly she said. I know it involves using viniger diluted with water and then something else diluted with water also. I did it a while back when she told me, but I haven't had much need for cleaning unless I was moving, and then I just cleaned it normally since it had the drive outside to dry/air out. Get some pictures with it completely planted so we can see!!

I know that vinegar and water work well, but you can also use peroxide and then vinegar. This will disinfect and the peroxide actually helps foam off stuff that's stuck to the glass. Wipe it away with paper towels. If you mist lightly enough it shouldn't run into the soil too bad and any that does won't harm anything. It won't harm the plants or the dragons either. I wouldn't intentionally spray the plants or dragons but any overspray is harmless.

Hope this helps,
Marcia

That was it, thanks Marcia. I remembered it as best as I could. it's about time to clean the glass in my tanks anyway.
